Totalica started in 2016 as an accounting and compliance practice — registrations, bookkeeping, audits, tax filings, the things every business needs handled correctly and on time. A few years in, we kept hitting the same wall our clients did: the software available for Indian tax and compliance work was either built for a different market, or built by people who'd never actually filed a return under deadline pressure. So we started writing our own — first for our own team, then for other practices too. Today Totalica is both the accounting firm handling your compliance, and the team that builds the tools behind it.
Every deliverable goes through the same review before it reaches you, whether it's a reconciled ledger or a tax opinion. We track evolving tax law and accounting standards as part of the job, not as an afterthought, and when a filing has a real deadline, we build in buffer rather than cut it close.
